The active ingredient in Propecia is Finasteride, first discovered to be beneficial in diminishing male hair loss in the 1990’s. Finasteride was found to prohibit DHT from forming. This was discovered by while it was being used to help prevent Benign Prostrate Hyperplasia.
Later, the applications for Finasteride in prohibiting male pattern baldness were explored. Merck Pharmaceuticals wanted the smallest effective quantity possible and did clinical studies on 1,553 men to find it. These men were between the ages of 18 to 41, all with some form of mild to medium male pattern baldness. This clinical study lasted for two years, with the end result being a decided effective dose of 1mg a day. In this study, over the two-year period, at least 83% of all the men saw results that included maintaining or increasing their overall hair count. Over 80% of these men could be seen to have an improved physical appearance.
Another clinical study done on Propecia was done over a five-year period, with 279 men. At the end of this study, it was found that nine out of ten men had improved physical appearances. In this study, it was concluded by an independent group of dermatologists that at least 48% of these men had experienced re-growth and that at least 42% had diminished hair loss. These studies were photographed and documented to prove the validity of the claims.
Propecia can be used with Minoxidil. These two drugs are the only verified treatments to show results for hair regrowth and hair loss diminishment. Minoxidil can be found in the Belgravia Centre in increments of 4% and 5% liquid doses. The Belgravia Centre has this Monoxidil with Medroxyprogesterone, or MPG. This is added as a booster for hair growth. It can be found in liquid or cream form. The cream is extra-strength and can only be found in the Belgravia pharmacy at Minoxidil 12.5 % + Azelaic Acid.
There are boosters that can help Propecia, as well. These growth enhancers maximize the results gained with Propecia. Among these are included the Belgravia Hair Vitalics and the LaserComb.
Any man over the age of 18 can use Propecia. It is not recommended for women or children.
Does Propecia Really Work? it inhibits the forming of DHT in the scalp. DHT can cause the hair follicle to shrink, causing premature hair loss. Over time, the follicle will shrink so that the hair is very fine and very small. Over a period of months, it is possible to use Propecia to lower the DHT hormone in the body to effectively stop the hair loss and encourage new hair growth.
While it has been proven that hair loss can be stopped, slowed or completely reversed with Propecia, there are no guarantees that it will work for everyone. Individuals will get different results, with the majority of those results being positive.
